At least 10 people were killed and several others injured as a result of airstrikes by the Assad regime and its Russian ally on the town of Maaret al-Numan and Saraqib in rural Idlib.
Local activists said that nine civilians, including two women, were killed and 13 others injured, including two children, in airstrikes that hit a popular market in the town of Maaret al-Numan in southern rural Idlib.
Activists added that another civilian was injured in regime airstrikes on the village of Sorman, while similar attacks targeted the villages of Hullaba, Riffah, Buraisa, and Tel Kraisan.
The Syrian Civil Defense Corps said that another civilian was killed and five others wounded in regime’s airstrikes on a vegetable market in the town of Saraqib in rural Idlib on Monday.
Since April 26, 2019, the Assad regime and Russian forces have stepped up the bombing campaign on Idlib province, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians, the displacement of nearly one million people, and causing massive destruction to infrastructure, especially hospitals and schools.
