The Syrian interim government commissioned the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to prepare a study for a project “to provide propane gas to approximately 100,000 Syrian families at reasonable prices. The interim government also has approved projects to maintain electricity network in the town of Azaz at an estimated cost of $214,000 USD in addition to provide electricity to the town of Maart al-Nouman at an estimated cost of $57,405 USD. Moreover, the Syrian government approved a project to establish a centre for training and rehabilitation for a number of people from various liberated and besieged areas, while it is developing the Green Project, which was supervised by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
