The interim Ministry of Health said that “at the beginning of our work we focused on the file of wounded Syrians, and on of vaccination against polio. But now we started focusing on the treatment of diseases in liberated areas.” Azad Sharif, director of the health care, said that we last week delivered medicines for the treatment of skin diseases to the coastal area, while on Saturday the Directorate of Health in Hama received a new batch of medicines provided by the Libyan campaign to relieve the Syrian people. The Ministry is currently collecting information about endemics in the affected areas and is assessing the numbers of patients to provide them with health support and the appropriate medication.” (Source: Syrian Coalition + Syrian Interim Government)
