The founding conference of the National Committee for Vaccination was opened today in Gaziantep, Turkey. The conference was attended by Adnan Hazzori, Minister of Health in the Syrian interim government, and Faisal Delmaz, custodian of Syrian refugees in Turkey. Hazzori talked about the importance of the establishment of the National Committee for Vaccination to organize the delivery of vaccine to the highest number of Syrians at home and abroad. Delmaz raised the need to unite the efforts of the interim governments, Turkey and international and local organizations to ensure the success of the work of the National Committee. The attendees also included a number of local and international organizations concerned with health affairs. It is scheduled that the conference, supervised by Health Minister in the Syrian interim government, will continue until Wednesday evening. (Source: Syrian Interim Government)
