A rights group has accused the Assad regime of procrastination in disclosing the fate of dozens of Palestinian-Syrians it has been detaining for several years, including women and children.
In a report on Friday, the Action Group for the Palestinians of Syria said that the Assad regime’s security services detained the brothers Samir, Fadi, and Shadi Bernawi back in 2012.
The London-based monitoring group pointed out that Samir and Fadi were detained on September 20, 2012, while their brother Shadi was detained in the Yarmouk camp in October 2012.
The Group earlier said that the Assad regime has detained no fewer than 1,768 Palestinian-Syrians since March 2011, including children and women., The fate of many of those is still unknown.
