The Emergency Response Coordinators Team in northern Syria on Monday said that it had recorded at least 109 violations of the ceasefire agreement by the Assad regime forces and its Russian ally since March 5.
In an infographic published on social media, the Team said that the Assad regime and Russian forces violated the ceasefire 83 times in Idlib province, 15 times in Aleppo province, six times in Latakia province, and five times in Hama province.
The Team pointed out that the continued violations by the Assad regime forces and Russia raised fears among the people in Idlib province and rural Aleppo of an imminent resumption of military operations.
The Assad regime forces on Monday shelled with heavy artillery the towns of Sarmin and Neirab in Idlib province as well as the Haddada hilltop in the Turkoman Mount in rural Latakia. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
