The head of the local council of al-Jinah town (Aleppo’s northern countryside), Mohammed Abu Aref, explained that the displaced people who fled the countryside of Hama and Idib need all kinds of aids, calling the international organizations to react immediately, especially new arrivals of displaced people may come soon.
On Thursday, about 200 displaced people arrived in the village of al-Jinah, coming from the village of al-Tah, south of Idlib province, which is under heavy bombardment by the Assad regime and Russia. According to Abu Aref, the local council welcomed them in the schools’ yards and gave them some tents, but the council was unable to provide other aids.
Families are in need of all kinds of assistance, of which the council does not have anything, calling on local and international relief organizations to immediately react and provide relief and medical assistance to the new arrivals, especially with the possibility of the arrival of new families in the coming days, Abu Aref said.
