Massive demonstrations went out in the predominantly Kurdish town of Amouda in northeastern Syria protesting against the Kurdish militant group the PYD’s recruiting of minor girls into their ranks. The demonstrators called on international and human rights organizations to take immediate action “to stop these illegal acts and the throwing of minor girls into this aimless war to achieve certain political ends.” A video posted on the internet shows demonstrations in Amouda with protesters holding placards that read: “The Assad regime looted Syria under the slogan of resistance while the PYD has displaced Syria’s Kurds under the pretext of resisting ISIS.” Source: (Syrian Coalition + Agencies)
