Alfateh Army, a coalition of rebel and FSA groups, has announced that they have captured four militants affiliated with the Iranian-backed foreign militias fighting alongside regime forces during a rebel offensive on southern rural of Aleppo.
Alfateh Army on Sunday published a video showing three militants of the Alnujabaa’ Movement, an Iranian-backed Iraqi militia fighting alongside regime forces, and a militant of the Hezbollah militias. The militants were captured in the village of Alqarrasi in southern rural Aleppo which has been the scene of violent battles between rebel fighters and pro-regime forces in the past few days with regime forces suffering heavy losses.
In eastern Ghouta, fighters of Jaish Alislam repelled a major regime offensive on Albahariyah front on Sunday, killing and injuring dozens of the attacking forces and seizing a T-72 tank. Jaish Alislam said that this was the biggest regime attack on eastern Ghouta in recent weeks.
In northern rural Aleppo, meanwhile, the Free Syrian Army fighters forced ISIS militants out of the village of Yaniyapan near the Turkish border. Clashes with militants of the extremist group continued around the nearby villages of Dodiyan, Karakobri and Ghazal. (Source: Syrian Coalition + Agencies)
