As part of the plan of the Secretariat of the Syrian National Coalition to reach out to Syrian associations and institutions in Turkey, the Coalition’s Secretary-General Abdelbaset Abdullatif visited the Syrian House organization in Istanbul in order to communicate and follow up on the conditions of Syrian nationals in Turkey.
Abdullatif stressed the need to coordinate and activate joint mechanisms of action to address the situation of Syrian nationals in Turkey as he listened to the major problems and obstacles facing them.
Abdullatif stressed the need to address the legal status of the Syrian nationals in Istanbul to ensure that their presence do not violate the country’s regulations and rules in accordance with recommendations put forward by the Joint Syrian-Turkish Committee.
Moreover, Abdullatif and the management of the Syrian House discussed the latest on the ground and political developments of the Syrian revolution. He also talked about the latest developments in the work of the Constitutional Committee in its first meeting in Geneva and preparations for the next meeting due to take place on November 25.
