First Batch of UN Relief Aid Enters Dara’a

Dara’a local council received the first batch of humanitarian aid sent by the United Nations to through rebel-held a rebel-held border crossing. The Council’s head Ziad Mahamid said that the aid has been stored in warehouses belonging to the Council, noting that sending the aid through this crossing means that the United Nations began to recognize the forces of the Syrian revolution. The relief aid includes ten trucks loaded by foodstuffs and medical equipment.
