Activists said that seven civilians were killed and many others wounded in barrel bomb attacks on the town of Rastan north of Homs on Friday. A UN relief aid convoy entered some areas in the Hula area with the help of the Syrian Red Crescent. The area is suffering shortage of food supplies due to the two-year-long siege imposed by regime forces. A UN mission, accompanied by the Red Crescent and the Free Syrian Army, toured the Hula area a few days ago to assess the humanitarian situation after the repeated distress calls which sent out by civilians.
