The Syrian Coalition organized a sit-in in Istanbul today to denounce the Russian aggression on Syria which came in support for the terrorism practiced by the Assad regime and the Iranian militias.
Protestors stressed that stopping barrel bombing and Russian airstrikes, lifting the siege and releasing the detainees are non-negotiable humanitarian demands. They said these demands must be met before the start of any negotiations.
The sit-in was attended by a number of members of the Syrian Coalition, headed by the Secretary-General Mohammed Yahya Maktabi, the Syrian Coalition’s representative in Turkey Nazir al-Hakim, former president Hadi al-Bahra, chairman of the legal committee Haitham al-Maleh and members of the political committee and the General Assembly.
