Coordinator of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s office in rural Aleppo, Ahmed Al-Shehadi, visited the most vulnerable households and IDPs, especially the households that include people with disabilities and a large number of children.
Al-Shehadi ascertained the living and health conditions of the households. He worked on providing them with material support and securing their daily and medical needs.
Al-Shehadi stressed the need for complying with preventive measures and avoiding gatherings to prevent an outbreak of the coronavirus in the freed territories.
He listened to people talking about the stories of their displacement, the crimes committed by the Russian forces, the Iranian militias, and the Assad forces against the towns and villages and from which they were displaced.
He also talked about the plan the SOC, the Syrian Interim Government, and the Assistance Coordination Unit developed to prevent an outbreak of the coronavirus. He also talked about the precautionary measures SIG is taking in this regard as he stressed the need to adhere to the health guidelines laid out by the Ministry of Health.
