Syrian Coalition: Fighting Terrorism Requires Supporting Syria’s Rebels

The Syrian Coalition calls on the Friends of Syria group to support Syrian rebels who managed to drive ISIS fighters out of large parts of Raqqa province, thus foiling the expansion projects planned by this terrorist organization in rural Aleppo, Deir Ezzor and other parts of Syria. The Syrian Coalition also stresses the presence of an "organic link between the Assad regime and ISIS, which was confirmed by documents leaked recently. The documents revealed that the Assad regime gave Iraqi fighters fake IDs to enable them to join ISIS in Syria, which was also corroborated by Human Rights Watch. It is worth noting that Ahmad Jarba, president of the Syrian Coalition, had previously confirmed the presence of a relationship between the Assad regime and ISIS. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
