Lebanese Druze leader Walid Jumblatt said he feels seeing the defense minister of what left of Assad’s army meanly begging Iranian Generals for help. “I’m talking about a regime that has destroyed Syria and the Syrian Army by using it against the Syrian people. How I feel insulted when I see Syrians in the uniform of the Syrian Arab Army begging for help from the Iranian generals.”
Jumblatt also said that “Prince Saud al-Faisal was not wrong when he said that Syria is an occupied country.”
“I witnessed the heroism of this army in the 1973 and 1982 wars during the Israeli aggressions. I also witnessed it the battles of Sultan Yacoub, Ayn Zhalta, Beirut and among others,” he Jumblatt added.
“But no matter how long it is takes, the proud Syrian people will one day see a new dawn when they will be liberated from oppression and tyranny of the Assad regime.”
President Khoja said earlier that “as the Syrian Revolution enters its fifth year, it is shifting away from being a revolution against tyranny and injustice to a battle for liberating Syria from the Iranian occupation after Assad handed over Syria to Iran and after Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Qods Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard took on commanding the regime’s military operations.
