Sources: Iran Continues to Send Mercenaries to Syria

An Afghan lawmaker in the Lower House of the Parliament has said that Ariana Afghan Airlines aircrafts are used to transport masked men to Syria and Iraq conflicts.

Head of the parliamentary commission on transportation and communication, Qais Hassan, said that planes are used to transport masked men from Iran to Baghdad, Najaf and Syrian cities.

Hassan further added that Ariana Airlines planes have been charted by Mahan Air which is illegally transporting masked men to participate in Iraqi and Syrian wars.

The shareholders and officials of Ariana Afghan Airlines who were summoned by the parliamentary commission confirmed that the international flights of Ariana Airlines were chartered with an Iranian airline.

This comes as dozens of Afghan nationals have been reportedly killed late in December last year while fighting in support of the Assad regime.

According to reports, some 3,000 Afghan nationals have been deployed to take part in the ongoing Syria conflict. Informed sources in the Afghan government have also confirmed that the number includes Iranian-backed Shiites fighting a proxy war in support of Assad.

An Iranian TV channel have shown documentary film shot inside areas controlled by the Assad regime in an unprecedented step. The film shows a number of multinational fighters whose only task is the protection of shrines and religious sites.

The film shows how Iranian officers have taken overall command of the Syrian army and its facilities, giving another evidence of their involvement in the ongoing genocidal war waged by the Assad regime against the Syrian people.

President Khoja said earlier, “as the Syrian Revolution has shifted away from being a revolution against tyranny and injustice to a battle for liberating Syria from the Iranian occupation after Assad handed over Syria to Iran and after Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Qods Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard took on commanding the regime’s military operations.

Khoja added that “the Free Syrian Army does not only fight the Assad regime, but also the Iranian regime, emphasizing that Assad is just an Iranian puppet who serves its interests. He noted that the time would come when Iran will eventually abandon Assad just as it did with Al-Maliki in Iraq.”

The Syrian Coalition calls on the UN Security Council to pass a resolution under Chapter VII demanding that the Iranian regime withdraws it forces out of Syria.

“The Syrian people are not only defending Syria, but also the dignity of the whole Arab nation against Iranian invaders. We are fighting today on three fronts; against ISIS, the Assad regime and the Iranian occupation, which requires unification of the efforts to achieve victory.” (Source: Syrian Coalition + Agencies)

Preserving independence and national sovereignty and maintaining the Syrian people’s unity within the same Syrian soil
is one of the critical pillars of the Syrian Coalition. The Coalition aims to overthrow the Assad regime along with all its
symbols and pillars. It also aims to dismantle its security apparatus and hold accountable those involved in crimes
against Syrians. In addition, it seeks to achieve a transition to a pluralistic, democratic and civil Syria.
