Lebanese Muslim Scholars Calls for “Storm of Resolve” in Syria
The Association of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon calls upon the Saudi-led coalition “to complete the job of deterring the aggressors in Syria and Iraq, where oppression and injustice surpassed what is happening in Yemen,” stressing that one of the nation’s duties is warding off the aggression practiced by Iran and its tools against the Arab and Muslim peoples.
The Association denounces “Iran’s persistent oppression of the Arab and Muslim peoples through murder, displacement, torture and confiscation of the right of peoples to self-determination and freedom.”
The Syrian Coalition expresses full support for the military operation "Storm of Resolve" which arose in response to demands for the protection of Yemen and its people from the aggression practiced by the Iranian-backed Al-Houthi militias.
“This decision represents a sound and deterrent step that paves the way for the formation of an alliance needed to address the Iranian regime’s plans to target the entire Arab region. The Syrian people, through their legal representative, urge brotherly and friendly countries to work on building a close alliance to finish off the Assad regime, thwart the ambitions of the Iranian regime, put an end to the destruction of Syria, and help Syrians achieve their legitimate aspirations.” (Source: Syrian Coalition + Anadolu)
