Syrian Coalition Mourns Engineer Mazen Al-Asa'ad

The Syrian Coalition was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Engineer Mazen Al-Asa'ad who was killed in the barbaric airstrikes that were carried out by the warplanes of the Russian occupation forces on the town of Atareb west of Aleppo 10 days ago.
Engineer Mazen Al-Asa'ad, who served as the Executive Director of the Free Hama Governorate Council and Director of the Infrastructure Department, was killed along with at least 80 civilians in the Russian airstrikes on a commercial street in central Atareb on November 13.
Asa'ad was missing until Wednesday, when civil defense teams dug his body out of the rubble nine days after the massacre.
The Coalition extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of Asa'ad and to all the families who lost a loved one in that terrible massacre. The Coalition stresses that the Syrian people will remain true to the sacrifices of their fallen heroes and continue the struggle until the goals of the revolution of freedom and dignity are achieved.
