The Syrian National Coalition mourns the veteran dissident and lawyer Muhammed Manjouna, member of the National Coordination Committee for Democratic Change.
The Coalition expresses its sincere condolences to Manjouna’s family, his friends and colleagues in the National Coordination Committee.
Born in Aleppo, Manjouna had been involved in the public affairs and the causes of the Arab nation since the 1960s. He joined the revolution of the Syrian people and avidly sought to preserve the civil, peaceful movement. His legacy and the long years he spent in the prisons of the tyrannical regime are a testimony to his real nature and devotion to serving the Syrian people.
His struggle has always been aimed at establishing a democratic, pluralistic, democratic state as well as ensuring social justice that seeks to build the state and the human being.
May he rest in peace.
