Displaced Syrian children are experiencing extremely traumatizing occurrences in the history of mankind, living in miserable tents that hardly shield them against hot summer and freezing winter. There are no stoves and sometimes no blankets to cover their frail bodies, while the little food they receive barely alleviates their hunger. Their mounting unbearable suffering continues to be ignored by the international community, no longer caring for the future of a generation on the brink of being lost. This report, “On the Outside: Bab al-Salama Refugee Camp”, sheds light on the forgotten tragedy of displaced Syrian children based on information collected by activists who toured the camp closely examining the living conditions and assessing the needs of its residents.
