183 Civilians Killed by Assad Regime & Russia Since Jan 12, Among them 52 Children & 30 Women
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) said that at least 183 civilians, including 52 children and 30 women, have been killed in bombardment and shelling by the Assad regime and Russian forces in northwestern Syria since the truce took effect on January 12.
The Network noted that regime forces had killed 68 civilians, including 12 children and seven women.
The Network said that regime forces killed 59 people in Idlib, including 10 children and 5 women and nine others in Aleppo, including two children and two women.
The monitoring group went on to say that attacks by the Russian forces killed 115 civilians, including 40 children and 23 women, 56 of whom were in killed in Idlib. Russian attacks also killed 59 people in Aleppo.
The Assad regime forces, Russia, and Iranian militias have unleashed a ferocious onslaught on Idlib and Aleppo provinces, killing and wounding hundreds of civilians and displacing hundreds of thousands more from their homes. (Source: Syrian National Coalition’s Media Department)
