Captive Regime Officers Killed in Air Raids on Douma
Activists said that regime army officers held captives by rebels in the district of Douma in Eastern Ghouta were killed in air raids that targeted their place of detention.
The killed regime captives are Brigadier Suhail Suleiman, commander of the 274th Regiment, Major Wafik Shailesh, policeman Fatir Salem, soldier Nawar Ahmed Mia, and element of Air Intelligence Tariq Salman and Louay Talal, one of the elements of the Iraqi Shiite militias, who was fighting alongside regime forces. The rest of the captives were injured in the air raid, some severely.
Activists have accused the regime air force of deliberately bombing the place, pointing out that this is not the first time the Assad regime tries to target the places where its captive militants are held. (Source: Syrian Coalition + Al Arabiya)
