The Assad regime forces shelled the liberated areas in Idlib and Aleppo provinces, causing civilian casualties as attacks have increased in the past few days.
According to local activists, two civilians were killed and another wounded when Assad regime forces shelled the outskirts of the town of Urim al-Kubra west of Aleppo. The Syrian Civil Defense on Friday said the artillery attack caused civilian casualties and damage to civilians property.
More civilians were injured in similar shelling by regime forces in rural Idlib. Activists said that the shelling targeted the towns of Kafranbel, Maaret Harma, Kfarrouma, and Tawil al-Halib.
The Russian Air Force also carried out airstrikes on the towns of Rakaya Sajna, Alnaqir, and Kafar Sajna, without reports of casualties.
