Activists said that dozens of civilians were killed and injured in violent Assad regime and Russian airstrikes that hit the towns of Kafartaal and Kafarnuran in western rural Aleppo on Tuesday.
Local activists pointed out that 10 people, including an entire family of eight people, were killed in aerial bombardment on the town of Kafartaal, while eight others were killed in a similar attack on Kafarnuran. Moreover, airstrikes killed a civilian in the village of Tekad, two others in Kafarnaha, two children in Jadraya, and one child in the village of Arhab.
The Civil Defense said that two people were killed and eight others were injured in aerial bombardment by the Russian Assad regime forces, adding that the bombardment targeted 14 towns and villages which were hit with no fewer than 23 airstrikes, six artillery shells, and 14 rockets.
Furthermore, four men were wounded in a Russian airstrike on the town of Maret al-Numan in rural Idlib. The bombardment also hit the towns of Al-Bara, Ehsim, Babila, Maasran, Kafarrouma, Al-Deir al-Sharqi, Tal Minnans, Maarshorin, Maardbasa, Khan al-Sabil, and al-Dana in southeastern rural Idlib as well as the towns of Badama and Marand in western rural Idlib.
The Assad regime and Russian forces have recently intensified the bombing campaign on Idlib and Aleppo provinces despite the ceasefire agreement reached by Turkey and Russia.
