The Syrian Coalition condemns the string of terrorist bombings that took place in the towns of Azaz, Al-Bab, and Al-Raei in northern rural Aleppo on Wednesday. The attacks claimed the lives of five people, including children, and left dozens more wounded as well as destroyed civilian property.
One of the bombings took place near the office of the Aleppo Provincial Council in the town of Azaz and the office of the Syrian Interim Government during a cabinet meeting. The Free Police Corps managed to defuse a third IED that was attached to motorcycle.
These terrorist, criminal bombings have further exposed the true nature of the terrorist forces seeking to cause chaos and instill fear and instability in the areas providing protection for civilians.
Nothing can break the Syrian people’s will to regain freedom and bring all criminals to justice, nor will anyone succeed in derailing the revolution from its goals to topple the tyrannical, murderous regime.
The ongoing crimes against the Syrian people must stop. It is imperative that the international community shoulder its responsibilities to safeguard security and enforce international resolutions as the only way to enable the Syrian people to achieve peace in their homeland and to fight terrorism in all its forms.
