The international anti-ISIS alliance conducted several airstrikes against extremists in Syrian towns near the border with Turkey. Activists said that six air raids targeted central Harem, killing four children and injuring many others besides causing massive damage to the residential buildings and shops. The US-led coalition’s warplanes also fired two missiles on the town of Sarmada, causing a number of injuries, while six civilians were killed and four others were injured in similar attacks on Western rural Aleppo last night. It is worth noting that the Syrian Coalition had earlier released a statement calling for the international anti-ISIS coalition to exert caution and give priority to the safety of civilians in all circumstances,” following air raids that caused civilian casualties.
