The Syrian Committee for Human Rights said that it had documented 18 children killed in Assad regime and Russian airstrikes on Syria on Monday.
The airstrikes hit mostly schools and hospitals in rebel-held areas in Idlib and Aleppo provinces. A Russian airstrike targeted a school in the town of Urm al-Kubra in rural Aleppo, injuring a number of schoolchildren and causing severe damage to the building.
Russian warplanes also bombed two hospitals in the town of Ma’art al-Nouman in rural Idlib and a children’s hospital in the town of Azaz in rural Aleppo on Monday. Five staff members were killed in the attack on Ma’arat al-Nouman hospital which is supported by Doctors Without Borders (MSF). (Source: Syrian Coalition)
