The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) vehemently condemns the recent Israeli aggression targeting the town and camp of Jenin in occupied Palestine. This relentless assault has resulted in the loss of lives, injuries to numerous individuals, the displacement of thousands, and extensive destruction within the camp over a span of two days.
The SOC emphasizes the urgent need for the international community to take decisive action in order to halt the recurring attacks by Israeli occupation forces. It calls upon the global community to earnestly work towards establishing lasting peace and ending violence worldwide, with particular focus on Palestine and Syria.
The bond between the Syrian and Palestinian peoples is one rooted in brotherhood, as they share similar experiences of suffering under the presence of occupying forces that continually inflict violence upon innocent individuals. They also share a common aspiration for freedom, independence, liberation from oppression and occupation, and the pursuit of a peaceful existence marked by freedom and dignity.
