Outrage has surged as the Assad regime continues its relentless assault on defenseless civilians across multiple provinces, even as it remains conspicuously silent in response to airstrikes by the Israeli occupation on its military installations.
Local media outlets have been abuzz with reports of jarring explosions reverberating through the areas of Mashrou’ Dummar and the suburb of Qudsaya in Damascus during the early hours of Sunday. These blasts coincided with widespread claims of Israeli occupation raids.
In an unsettling synchrony, the artillery of the Assad regime’s forces, backed by Russian support, unleashed a barrage on residential neighborhoods and the peripheries of Maarat al-Naasan town and Shallakh village in the eastern hinterlands of Idlib. As of now, no casualties have been reported in the wake of these strikes. Meanwhile, the regime’s heavy artillery rained down on the vicinity of Sarmaniyah village in the western reaches of Hama province, resulting in significant material damage.
