On Friday, hundreds of individuals staged demonstrations in the towns of Nawa and Al-Hirak in Daraa’s countryside, reiterating the rallying cries of the Syrian revolution: to attain freedom and topple the Assad regime. Their fervor remained unwavering, underscoring their commitment to see the Syrian revolution through until its legitimate aspirations are realized.
Visual documentation circulated by local activists and media captured the scenes in Nawa and Al-Hirak, showcasing multitudes chanting revolutionary slogans and emphatically demanding the regime’s ouster.
In a parallel sequence, Jassim town to the north of Daraa hosted anti-regime demonstrations on Thursday evening, where voices united in chanting “down with Assad, we want to live.”
These protests materialized following strikes and protests in Nawa, Tafas, and Al-Lajat towns within Daraa, all spurred by the deteriorating living conditions. Coincidentally, these demonstrations in Daraa occurred simultaneously with fervent anti-regime protests in the adjacent Suwayda province.
