Protesters continued to gather on Wednesday at Al-Karama Square in the center of Suwayda city, coming from various regions of the province to participate in demonstrations demanding political change in Syria.
Today, the demonstrators raised banners, some of which read: “One Syria for all Syrians, a free, free Syria, Bashar out, a revolution of dignity, we demand the revelation of the fate of the forcibly disappeared, civil and political freedoms are a right, Bashar is no longer wanted.”
The demonstrators emphasized the continuation of the protests until the departure of the Assad regime, and the necessity of a political transition in accordance with UN Resolution 2254, the implementation of UN Resolution 2118, the referral of perpetrators of war crimes against the Syrian people to the International Criminal Court, and the release of detainees.
