The Directorate for Documentation of Violations and Human Rights in the Syrian Interim Government has released a report on the civilian casualties in the liberated north of Syria for the month of November. According to the report, a total of 19 people lost their lives, comprising 8 men, 2 women, and 9 children. Additionally, 44 individuals sustained injuries, including 31 men, 6 women, and 7 children during this period.
The directorate attributed the majority of the casualties to the Assad regime, holding them responsible for the death of 15 individuals, consisting of 6 men, 2 women, and 7 children. Furthermore, 22 people were wounded in attacks involving the regime, with 10 men, 6 women, and 6 children among the victims.
The report also implicated the PYD terrorist militia in the conflict, citing their responsibility for 4 deaths, including two men and two children, as well as 22 injuries, involving 21 men and one child.
In November, the Directorate documented a total of 261 attacks on liberated areas, with the Assad regime and its allies accountable for 255 of these incidents. The PYD terrorist militia was implicated in 6 additional attacks.
The report highlighted a particularly deadly assault by the Assad regime in the village of Qaqfin in the Idlib countryside on November 25th, resulting in 10 fatalities and one injury, all of whom were civilians. Additionally, the Assad regime targeted protected objects and staff in another attack.
