Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan said that “those, who let Assad be, are committing one of the most serious crimes in history by condoning the killing of 400,000 people to fight 10-20 thousand ISIS militants.”
Speaking at an award ceremony, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bursa, President Erdogan said that “400,000 Syrians have been killed in 5 years. These people were killed by state terror.”
Regarding the Russian bombardments in Syria, President Erdogan said that the Russians claim they have not been informed about the presence of the Turkmen in the Turkmen Mount area: “’We have not been informed about Turkmens,’ the Russians said, but I told Mr. Putin myself during the meeting between delegations there was no Daesh (ISIS) presence in the region; only Turkmens. Turkmens are being killed there right now… But unfortunately, the dishonest always tells such lies.”
Stating that a merciless, immoral, war was being waged in Syria under the guise of combatting ISIS, President Erdogan said that “history will record those, who directly or indirectly support Assad and turn a blind eye to the killing of so many people. If we are to actually struggle against Daesh in Syria in a determined way, the first step should be saving Syria from Assad. Because, Assad is the biggest supporter of Daesh.”
On another occasion, President Erdogan, presented Tambi Jaimouq, the young Syrian pianist who has been awarded the Turkish nationality, with a piano for winning an international competition in music held in the Spanish city on November 2. Jaimouq has also received many awards in Germany, Sweden, and Bulgaria after receiving the Turkish nationality. Source: (Anadolu)
