Saudi Arabia has begun taking in Syrians living in Yemen without any condition or restriction, and announced it would provide them with assistance and protection in light of the turmoil and lawlessness caused by the Iranian-backed the Houthi militia.
The Syrian Coalition hails the move, describing it as important and very much needed. It earlier called on the friendly states to rescue about 5,000 Syrians currently stranded in Yemen and to move them to countries that are willing to give them refuge.
The Syrian Coalition renews support for the Saudi-led “Storm of Resolve” “operation which arose in response to demands for the protection of Yemen and its people from the aggression practiced by the Iranian-backed Al-Houthi militias. “This decision represents a sound and determined step that paves the way for the formation of an alliance needed to address the Iranian regime’s plans to target the entire Arab region.” (Source: Syrian Coalition + Sham Network)
