The Syrian Women’s Authority of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) has concluded a three-day academic training workshop titled “Panel Discussions Facilitation and Media Appearance Skills,” held in collaboration with the Stabilization Support Unit in Gaziantep, Turkey.
The workshop was attended by members of the Syrian Women’s Authority from Gaziantep, Åžanlıurfa, and northern Syria, with the participation of the SOC’s Vice President, Dima Moussa. The training aimed to enhance participants’ skills in media appearances as political speakers, as well as improve their ability to effectively manage discussions and meetings.
The focus of the workshop was to empower attendees to take a more active role in internal and public discussions, and to boost their media presence by presenting themselves professionally to both the media and the public.
The workshop included interactive sessions on facilitation techniques, communication skills in front of the camera, preparation for media appearances, and strategies for media influence. Participants were highly engaged with the training material and emphasized the importance of the workshop in enhancing their skills, enabling them to perform more effectively in public and media forums.
This training is part of the Syrian Women’s Authority’s ongoing efforts to promote the role of women in various fields and prepare them to participate actively in politics and public affairs, both locally and internationally. It aligns with the Authority’s vision of supporting and empowering Syrian women to take on significant roles in political work.
