The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) congratulates the Syrian people and the entire Arab and Islamic nations on the blessed Eid al-Adha, asking God Almighty for many happy returns for Syria and its people in security, peace, victory, relief and salvation from the Assad regime and its allies and all terrorist militias, and for our Arab and Islamic nations in goodness, prosperity and empowerment.
The SOC salutes the Syrian people for their 11-year struggle and steadfastness in the face of the criminal killing machine, and for showing unwavering determination, resolve and steadfastness to reach the supreme goal, which is to build a new Syria based on freedom, justice and dignity without the criminal Assad regime.
The Assad regime and its allies have transformed Syrians’ festivities into occasions for grief and sorrow through killings, arrest, alienation and bombing, in light of the international silence on its endless crimes against an entire people.
We greet the great, steadfast and patient people of Syria for their insistence and commitment to their revolution and principles despite all the dire circumstances. We hope we will celebrate the next Eid with victory and relief on the land of a free Syria.
