In a campaign waged by the regime with unlimited Iranian and Russian support, Assad forces, backed by Hezbollah militias, are attacking wide areas of eastern Ghouta. This has left 100,000s of civilians exposed to heavy aerial bombardment and artillery shelling. The cities of Adra, Douma, al-Atiba, al-Bahariya and Harasta are under attack with the regime’s recurrent use of chemical weapons.
This escalation comes amid current harsh humanitarian conditions. There is also a severe lack of equipment and medical personnel to treat the wounded in these attacks. We urge rapid action from international organizations to save the hundreds of thousands of lives that are in imminent danger.
We ask for Mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded, and freedom for our detainees.
Long live Syria and its people, free and with honor.
