The Syrian Coalition expresses its deep sympathy over the unfortunate death of an Egyptian citizen, allegedly by a Syrian resident in Egypt.
The Syrian Coalition urges the Egyptian Ministry of Interior to start a transparent investigation into the incident. We consider this incident a criminal act that only represents the perpetrator and not the Syrian people.
The Syrian and Egyptian peoples have historical ties, and they share a relationship of friendship and mutual respect. Furthermore, the Syrian people living in Egypt should not be targeted for the criminal acts perpetrated by individuals.
We ask for Mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded, and freedom for our detainees.
Long live Syria and its people, free and with honor.
