Today, we lost another hero to the brutality of ISIS and its dark ideology. The murder of David Haines is a gruesome and despicable act of terrorism. Haines was a dedicated aid worker who risked his life to offer humanitarian assistance to tens of thousands of people in Syria, plighted by Assad’s policy of oppression and its brutal fallout. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Haines.
The continued appalling acts of terror ISIS is perpetrating will only add to our determination to rid the world of the evil of ISIS. The murderous fanatics of this extremist group will be hunted down and brought to justice to face up to the crimes they have committed against the people of Syria and Iraq, but also against humanity.
