The Syrian Coalition is pleased to announce the opening of a new liaison office in Berlin, Germany. The office will provide assistance to Syrians and newly settled refugees living in Germany.
Commissioned by President Ahmad Al-Assi of the Syrian Coalition, Muaffaq Nerabiya delivered the opening speech. The opening was attended by a number of officials from the German Foreign Office including Ambassador of the German Foreign Minister to the Middle East, Volkmar Wenzel.
Representatives of German and Syrian associations also attended the meeting. Professor Sadiq Jalal al-Azm delivered an inspiring speech at the opening of the center.
The Liaison office will employ a chief executive officer and two administrators. It is funded by the German government and the Berghof Research Center. It will aid more than 5000 Syrian refugees with their official documents. Furthermore, the liaison office will hire more employees to cope with broader future functions, and it will continue their partnership with Berghof Research Center.
We ask for mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded, and freedom for our detainees.
