The medical office of Eastern Gouta, in rural Damascus, affirmed that a cloud of gas from bombs dropped by Assad’s forces on Adra, has spread to areas as far as the city of Douma. Fatalities are reported and 437 people suffer from symptoms like suffocation and exhaustion in the area.
The Syrian Coalition renews its call to the UN chemical weapons investigation team to inspect the use of internationally prohibited toxic chemical gases in Douma and Adra, in rural Damascus. The Syrian Coalition will fully cooperate with the team in its mission to gather samples from these areas and other locations where Assad has used chemical weapons.
The lives of thousands of Syrian civilians are in danger as the international community continues to be negligent towards the Syrian people who are being killed with weapons of mass destruction.
We ask for Mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded, and freedom for our detainees.
Long live Syria and its people, free and with honor
