The Syrian Coalition extends its sincere condolences to the Tunisian people on the death of Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi.
The late president made tremendous efforts in the service of the Tunisian people. During his time in office, Essebsi sought to strengthen the national unity while focusing on improving the economic and security conditions in the country.
The Coalition is confident of the ability of the Tunisian Republic, its people and leadership to compensate for this loss and to continue down the road towards progress and prosperity.
The Coalition expresses its highest appreciation and support to the Tunisian people in preserving the achievements of the revolution and its democratic institutions as well as in defending the rights and aspirations of the peoples of the region.
