The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) stresses that it stands with the leadership and people of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the action being taken to maintain the safety, security and stability of the country while respecting the rule of law and observing official procedures.
The SOC rejects all attempts to undermine Jordan’s legitimate institutions, stressing the need to maintain good governance; uphold freedoms; and uphold the state of the constitution and institutions.
The SOC renews its thanks and appreciation for the popular and official stances of Jordan towards the legitimate rights of the Syrian people. Indeed, millions of displaced Syrians have touched the magnanimity of our brothers in the Kingdom and their sincere support throughout the ordeal the Syrian people are going through.
We wish the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its brotherly people lasting stability, security and prosperity.
