The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) states that all press releases issued by any outlet other than its official website and official social media accounts are false and are being issued by a party that impersonates the SOC’s name and logo. We will prosecute anyone who impersonates the SOC’s name or logo.
The SOC is coming under smear campaigns and media attacks after it implemented packages of the reform plan. We stress that attempts to mislead the Syrian public opinion by spreading disinformation will not discourage us from pursuing the reform process.
The SOC stresses that the measures it is currently carrying out came in response to popular pressures that the SOC felt during the consultations it held with the various revolutionary and civil groupings and blocs across the liberated areas. They also came in response to popular demands, which intersected with a real desire on the part of the SOC to accomplish this process.
