The Assad regime and its allies continue to commit more crimes on a daily basis, while the White Helmets volunteers continue to rescue the injured, document the airstrikes, and record the names of the victims. The international community, meanwhile, continues with its silence amounting to tacit approval and thus partnership in these crimes.
More civilians are being killed and injured while thousands more are being displaced as a result of airstrikes by the Russian occupation jets and barrel bomb attacks on the towns of Maaret al-Numan, Saraqib, and Tel Mardikh in another day of killing, bombing, displacement, and terrorism against Idlib province.
We cannot shirk our responsibilities as we will continue to communicate with the international actors in order to urge them to shoulder their responsibilities and work to rein in the murderous regime and its allies and stop their crimes against the Syrian people.
We repeat our warning of the consequences of the continued international failure and inaction. We reassert the need for all parties to shoulder their responsibilities with regards to the ongoing disaster on the ground.
