The PYD terrorist militia continues its hostile actions against the liberated areas. Ten days after the deadly attack it launched on the village of Kuwait al-Rahma in the Afrin region, the PYD militia shelled residential areas in the town of Azaz, north of Aleppo, on Wednesday evening, injuring six civilians, including four women.
The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) calls for stopping political, military and logistical support for this militia which has a proven track record of violations and war crimes against civilians in the liberated areas, let alone its continued attempts to destabilize these areas.
The SOC urges the Syrian National Army to swiftly respond to anyone who threatens the security of the liberated areas to act as an effective deterrent to the hostile actions of this militia, and ensure safety for our free Syrian people.
