The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) strongly condemns the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted Aden International Airport in Yemen, killing and injuring dozens.
The attack, which targeted members of the new Yemeni government as they arrived at the airport, is a new attempt to disrupt efforts aimed at restoring security and stability to Yemen.
In the name of all Syrians, the SOC reiterates it stands by the Yemeni people in their war against terrorism. It also reaffirms its support for the UN efforts to stop the fighting, stressing the need to oblige the parties to return to the negotiating table and reach a just solution that ensures an end to the subversive role of Iran and its Houthi militants in Yemen as well as restores security, stability and sovereignty to the Yemeni state.
