On the occasion of Nowruz, the Syrian Coalition sends its warmest wishes to the Syrian people, in particular Syrian Kurds who have been denied the right to celebrate this festival since the Assad family came to power more than 40 years ago.
During this “new day,” which marks the start of spring, the Syrian people reflect on more than three years of destruction and terror caused by a despotic regime. They look forward to ridding Syria of the tyranny of the Assad family so that they can work together, Syrians from all different political, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, to build a free, democratic and pluralistic Syria.
