The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) condemns the terrorist rocket attack that targeted Erbil airport and residential neighborhoods in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region late on Monday.
The SOC stresses that it stands by the Iraqi people in the face of terrorism, stressing its rejection of regional or international scores-settling at the expense of the Iraqi people.
It has become clear chaos and devastation that have plagued the region for decades are the result of the subversive policies of the Iranian regime and the terrorist militias serving the Iranian regime’s dark ideology and expansionist project. Chaos and devastation also came as a result of the policies of the regimes that insist on disrupting the wheel of change and pursuing oppression and coercion as their only choice.
All forces that seek freedom, peace and stability in the region must stand unified against the regimes of tyranny and criminality and terrorist organizations that are working to undermine the region socially, politically and militarily, and work together for the good of the peoples of the region, their freedom, security and stability.
